Are you ready to ignite your fire within?
Join an intimate group of people and four members of the El Juego community for four full days of collective Playing on the volcanic island of Stromboli, Italy.
In retreat, we will invite you to explore with radical authenticity so to reimagine our way of thinking, feeling and seeing the world. We will unlock the wisdom hidden in our wounds and rediscover the strength in vulnerability, using the group as a mirror and container of our personal and collective transformation.
We will explore how our mind, emotions, needs, and body interact with the natural elements, nurtured by the power of the active volcano of Stromboli. Our individual and collective processes will be ignited by the fire of the lava, caressed by the winds and waters of the Mediterranean Sea, and held by the fertile mineral earth of the island. We will be playing in various locations around the Island, including the cave of Eolo, the Greek God of the Wind.
ABOUT EL JUEGO
We are an international community based in Colombia. We are passionate about human consciousness and we live in constant exploration of ourselves and our relationships.
Based on our own experiences, we develop innovative methods to change the internal structures that prevent us from living fully – we call this Playing. We travel the world Playing – so far, we have accompanied over 3,000 people in their process of personal and collective growth.

How do you think? Where does your way of thinking come from? Do you choose what you think?
We invite you to get to know yourself through the mind. We will play with our inner dialogue to explore the freedom of thought.
Sadness, anger, fear, and joy have a message for you.
These emotions will be our guides. Through them, we will travel to the moments that have limited our life experiences and open ourselves to new possibilities.
What do you need? Can you recognize it? What do you do to satisfy your needs?
We will discover how to communicate our needs and connect with others with more authenticity.
The body is wise; it expresses what we do not express.
On this day, we will hike the Volcano. The day will be focused on observing how repressed emotions are stored in the body, causing pain or illnesses. This final day will allow the body to release, follow its impulses, and heal.
Closing ritual on the ferry back to Napoli.
ABOUT GEO RESIDENCY
We will be lodging at Geo Residency, managed by the local artisan and ceramist, Salvatore.
Geo residency is composed of a series of small apartments, all furnished with a kitchen. Each apartment will host from 2 to 6 people, with both individual bedrooms and shared accommodation. We will be located right at the beginning of the path to hike the volcano, 400 mt above the main square of the town. The residency also has:
- A patio with a bar and restaurant
- A garden
- Common space
- A ceramic laboratory

Notice that Stromboli is an island: the costs of food and accommodation are higher than in mainland Italy. We are trying to keep costs as low as possible – we list the price that would allow us to cover all our costs.

HOW TO GET TO STROMBOLI
Below are some tips to reach the island. Feel free to contact us if you have any questions.
There are 2 options to get to Stromboli – in both cases you will need to get a ferry.
Choose the one that is more convenient for you – just make sure you arrive on May 29th 2025
🛬 Fly to Rome or Naples and from Naples take a overnight Ferry.
If you fly to Rome, you can to take a 🚂 train Rome – Naples, which is about 1.15 hour train journey.
If you are flying to Rome, make sure to buy your train ticket Roma-Napoli in advance, it will be cheaper.
⛵ You will then need to take a ferry from Naples:

This is the trip we recommend: Napoli – Stromboli on the 29th 0f May. The last full day of workshop will be on June 2nd, so you can take the ferry on the 3rd of June, if you are in a rush. If you have more time to spend in Stromboli there is a ferry on the 7th.

🛬 Fly to Catania or Palermo, Sicily.
From there you can then take a bus to Messina or Milazzo.
⛵From Messina and Milazzo there are several ferries and hydrofoils.
Some of which require ferry changes in Lipari or other Aeolian islands, leading to Stromboli island.
